To spawn items, name your character with 1-3 of the values listed below, each surrounded by brackets (for example, you might name your character [611][577][532], if you anticipate having a regular need for those items). Doing so will cause items to spawn one or more of those items whenever your name is referenced within the game. Note you can also do the same thing when naming an animal you are buying, but that only works the one time.
On any Monday, go to the saloon and talk with Gus. First time he will give a generic welcome and then for the rest of the day he will welcome you with your full name. You can be in the saloon from 12pm until 2am when you fall asleep. This gives you 14 hours to spam Gus and allows you to generate thousands of the items in your name every Monday.
This list of items codes was provided to IGN by Eric "ConcernedApe" Barone for use with the item spawning cheat.

How to spawn Iridium Bar
To spawn items like Iridium Bar in Stardew Valley instead of using console commands, a secret in-game cheat can be exploited. Items can be spawned by using one of two available methods listed below.
Spawn Iridium Bar Using Animal Name
To spawn Iridium Bar item by using animals name, travel to northeast area of Cindersap Forest and find Marnie‘sRanch, then talk to Marnie and buy any animal (chicken is best for it‘s cheapest price). Set animals name to [337] and hit OK. The Iridium Bar item should be acquired.
Spawn Iridium Bar Using Character Name
To use this method, at the beginning of the game, create your character as usual, then name your character [337] and press OK to save. In game, approach and speak to any villager, if during dialog villager mentions your name, which now is set to [337], you will receive a Iridium Bar item to your inventory.
Be aware that your character‘s name can only be set once, at the beginning of the game (when creating in-game world), and you cannot change character’s name later in the game.
However, on PC/Mac versions of the game, there is a workaround to rename your character, by manually editing game save files. If you want to know more how to manually edit game save files, check out our guide on How to Change Your Name in Stardew Valley.
If you are not sure about manually editing game files, or you are playing Stardew Valley on other platforms than PC/Mac, we recommend using the first method listed above.

One of Stardew Valley's most prized resources, Iridium is a valuable metal that can be adapted into some of the game's best items. In this guide, we'll show you how to get iridium ore and iridium bars as quickly as possible, at least without hacking the game.
How to Farm Iridium
Farming Iridium isn't really possible in the early game, not without huge amounts of money and resources. However, there are ways to procure it fairly fast by going through the lower levels of the mines, though this is a dangerous and time-consuming practice. Still, we'll go over the basics of what you'll need here:
- Play the game until you unlock the Mines (Day 5 of Spring on Year 1).
- Raise your Mining Level as high as possible. Once you've reached level 5, pick the Geologist skill. If you've reached level 10, pick Excavator.
- Bring as much food and as many bombs as you can carry, as well as a good weapon and pickaxe.
- Go to the Mines as early as possible and get to floor 115. Don't bother dealing with enemies if you don't have to, instead destroy every rock around you with bombs, then a pickaxe when you run out. Collect all the Geodes and Omni Geodes, then repeat this process until floor 119.
- Take them all to the blacksmith so he can crack them open. You'll probably get a lot of money from the gemstones inside, but there's also a good chance at least some of them will have iridium in them.
How to Get Iridium Without Going into the Mines
If venturing into dangerous areas isn't your thing, there are other ways to procure iridium, though none that are quite as efficient.

- Iridium ore in the Skull Cavern in the Desert becomes more common the deeper you go. It should become a regular drop around level 70.
- Purple Slimes, Bats and Crabs have a chance to drop Iridium when killed. You can find all of these in the Skull Cavern.
- After you complete the Crafts Room in the Community Center, the Quarry will unlock East of the Mines. There's a chance to find small amounts of Iridium here.
- If you can get a Fish Pond and put Super Cucumbers in it, it'll start to generate Iridium every few days.
- The Travelling Cart will occasionally sell it.
- If you have a lot of money to burn, you can go to the desert and speak to Sandy, who will sell you Omni Geodes, which you can take the Blacksmith to see if they have iridium in.
- The Statue of Perfection grants you 2-8 Iridium ore everyday. You can unlock it by being evaluated by Grandpa's Shrine and getting a good result, then interacting with the shrine itself.
What Does "An Explosion Was Heard in the Night" Mean?
If you get the message "An explosion was heard in the night..." it means a meteorite has landed on your farm. Find it and break it open with a gold pickaxe or better to get some iridium ore, stones and Geodes.
How to Craft Iridium Bars
Most items you'll craft with Iridium as a component need Iridium bars rather than Iridium ore. If you have ore, you'll need a furnace, which you can build that in the crafting menu. Place five iridium ore and one piece of coal inside, and after eight in-game hours, you'll be able to retrieve one iridium bar from it.
What Should I Use Iridium For?
Iridium is used as a high-tier metal for most of the game's best or most valuable items, but some of the items its used for are better than others. Iridium is used to make all the final upgrades for your tools, as well as the Iridium Sprinkler, which can water 24 tiles automatically. We'd also suggest building a Crystalarium early, a device that can make copies of any gem you put inside it. It's useful for crafting resources and for making money in the background.

Id iridium bar
The first is to name your character the IDs of the items you would like to spawn, everytime you speak to a village who says your name.
For example, you could name your character [434][163][166] to spawn Stardrop, Legend Fish, and Treasure Chest. The second way is by naming an animal (one that you buy from Marnie) the item IDs you would like. This method only works once per animal.
When you buy an animal from Marnie, name it the IDs of the items you would like to spawn. Note that this works only once per animal!
To spawn Iridium Milk you would need to name your animal [803]. Be sure to include the brackets, [ ] in the name. You can use up to three item IDs per animal. For example, [166][163][688].
Give your animals different names as you cannot use the same name again. You can do this by switching the order of the item IDs.
For example [163][166][688] for the second animal OR you can append an extra character, such as a space between the brackets or adding random letters or numbers to the end.
Spawning items in Stardew Valley is not done via commands, but rather through a cheat in which you must set your character's name, or the name of an animal, to the item code of the item you wish to spawn surrounded by [ and ].
Spawn Using Animal Name
To spawn this item using an animal's name, visit Marnie's Ranch, speak to Marnie and purchase an animal (we recommend a chicken as it is cheapest). Name the animal [337] and press OK. You will then receive the iridium bar item.
Spawn Using Character Name
You can only set your character's name once, at the start of the game (when you create your world), for this reason we recommend you use the animal name method. If you do wish to use this method, first set your character's name to [337] when creating your save. Whenever you speak to a villager that says your name in dialogue (for example Gus at the Stardrop Saloon) you will be given the iridium bar item.

The Iridium Bar is a bar you can find in the lower part of the mines. It can be used for making Pickaxes, Axes, Scythes, Hoes, Watering Cans. An Iridium Bar is crafted by smelting 5 Iridium Ore and 1 Coal in a Furnace. Purple Slimes in the Skull Cavern or Slime Hutch have a chance to drop Iridium Bars and Ore when slain. Shadow Shaman and Shadow Brutes can also drop an Iridium Bar when slain (0.2% chance). Iridium Bats may drop one as well (0.8% chance). The Traveling Cart may sell an Iridium Bar for 3,000-5,000g. One Iridium Bar can also be received as a gift from Clint at the Feast of the Winter Star. Two to three Iridium Bars may occasionally be found in treasure rooms in the Skull Cavern.
An Iridium Bar can be shipped or sold to Clint at the Blacksmith Shop for 1,000g or 1,500g with the Blacksmith Profession.
The Desert Trader in the Calico Desert will trade one Warp Totem: Desert Recipe for 10 Iridium Bars.
You can sell it for 1,000 gold.
Iridium Ore is a resource found in Iridium Nodes, Mystic Stones, Magma Geodes, and Omni Geodes. It is also a rare drop from high-level Monsters and can be found in Fishing Treasure Chests and meteorites on the farm. Panning may also occasionally yield Iridium Ore. The Statue of Perfection produces 2-8 Iridium Ore per day.
Five Iridium Ore can be traded at the Desert Trader for one Mega Bomb.
Locations
- The Traveling Cart will occasionally sell it for 300-1,000g.
- The Mines: A fairly reliable source of the ore is through Magma and Omni Geodes on lower mine levels. These can be obtained frequently by mining all rocks on the mine levels 115-119. To further enhance geode frequency, choose the Geologist Profession at mining level 5 and the Excavator Profession at mining level 10.
- A fallen meteorite on The Farm will drop 6 Iridium Ore.
- Iridium Nodes and Mystic Stones can be found in the Quarry.
- The Oasis: You may buy large amounts of Omni Geodes from Sandy in The Desert, which Clint can then break open for you. This process is costly, but does not require combat and can potentially be faster than scouring the Skull Cavern.
- Skull Cavern: The chance to find Iridium Ore increases steadily as you descend into the Skull Cavern. You may buy stone from the Carpenter's Shop to craft a staircase. Large amounts of staircases or bombs can get you deep into Skull Cavern quickly.
- Purple slimes in the Skull Cavern or a Slime Hutch have a chance to drop both iridium ore and bars. Slimes may give more iridium than you will find from mining iridium nodes in the Skull Cavern.
- Iridium Bats in the Skull Cavern may drop an Iridium Bar (0.8% chance) and up to 4 Iridium Ore when slain.
- Iridium Crabs in the Skull Cavern may drop up to 3 Iridium Ore when slain.
- A Super Cucumber Fish Pond may produce 1-3 Iridium Ore when the population of the pond reaches 9.
Smelting
Iridium Ore can be smelted in a Furnace to create an Iridium Bar. The smelting requires 5 iridium ore and 1 Coal and takes 8 in-game hours.
