SR-mapicon-Orc Stronghold.png&#;Mor Khazgur&#;— An Orc stronghold in the far northwest of Skyrim, west of Solitude and north of Markarth. (map)

Blood-Kin[edit]

Only Orc characters have immediate access to the strongholds unchallenged. Characters of any other race must first become Blood-Kin of the Orcs before being welcome in the strongholds. You can enter a stronghold without being Blood-Kin, but everyone will continuously tell you that you are not welcome, and you are unable to trade with any merchants in the stronghold.

There are several quests that fulfill this requirement. Members of any stronghold you approach may give you the quest The Forgemaster's Fingers if you have not become Blood-Kin already. However, if you complete any quests on the following list before receiving the quest The Forgemaster's Fingers, you will not have access to that quest. Completing any of the following quests will still give you access to Orc Strongholds as Blood-Kin and will have no related repercussions.

Completing any of these quests will have the grateful Orc say, "For your help, I'm sending word to the Orc strongholds that you're to be trusted. You should be welcome there now.", signifying that you are now Blood-Kin.

Orc Family Names[edit]

Orc family names are usually (but not always) prefixed depending on gender: "gro-" for males, and "gra-" for females. (In a few cases in Morrowind, there are male Orcs with the feminine "gra-" prefix, or a third prefix "gor-"; and in Online female Orcs with the male "gro-" prefix. ) The prefix is usually followed by the name of the Orc's clan or the stronghold where they were born.[1] Some family names may not have a prefix at all, for example the Gilgar family.

ESO Orsimer Name Generator &#; Guide

Orsimer, or perhaps more popularly known as Orcs, are a rather brutish and powerful race of elven origin. Though they have elven blood, they are considered to be both Beast and Goblin-kin. Most other races consider them rough and cruel.

They live in clans, led by a chieftain who holds the right to have wives and father children. For the clan to have a new leader, one of the sons has to challenge and defeat his father. Despite how it may seem, their society is pretty sophisticated.

Examples of good names are Bragglak Malad,  Duluurz Sharbug, Orolg Gro-Loror, and Volba Gra-Bagum.

Orsimer Last Names

Orsimer use their stronghold name as their surname unless they have business with outsiders. Now and then, some might use their father’s or mother’s name as their last, with Gro- and Gra- prefixes, respectively.
