Valorant update 3.07 (Oct 5, 2021) is now available to download on PC. According to the official Valorant patch notes, the latest update fixes a number of common crashes. Apart from this, the latest Valorant patch 3.07 also includes stability fixes.
Previously, a big update added various balancing, map changes, and bug fixes. Unfortunately, many players are still experiencing a number of issues when trying to play the game online.
Today’s Valorant version 3.07 will fix a few of these issues.
What is new in Valorant patch 3.07 notes?
- Penalties removed for leaving Deathmatch early
- Full game participation is required to earn XP.
- Many of you use Deathmatch to warm up, and its drop-in-drop-out nature makes that work great. Which is why we’ll now support DM as a drop-in-drop-out mode with no penalties for leaving a game early.
- New setting, in Beta, “Raw Input Buffer” improves performance of input device processing
- VALORANT has used Raw Input for devices since launch. Enabling “Raw Input Buffer” will adjust which APIs are used for processing Raw Input.
- SHould result in minor performance improvement and identical input latency when used with standard input devices and gaming mice.
- Major performance improvement when used with 8000hz polling rate mice.
- 8000hz polling rate mice are supported with this feature enabled.
GAME SYSTEM UPDATES
- A slew of fixes for some common crashes as reported by players
- Fixed a bug where the text cursor would relocate to the right when editing text in the Report A Player menu
- Fixed a bug where Team Ace could be awarded in scenarios where it wasn’t earned by the team (we still respect teamwork!).

Patch Notes Breakdown 3.06
Welcome to our Valorant patch breakdown! We’ll be discussing all the buffs, nerfs, and adjustments related to agents, guns, maps, and more for every patch.
3.06 is a small patch but the balance changes are quite interesting. Jett, Skye, and KAY/O are all receiving adjustments to the way their kit functions.
Jett and Skye will be receiving nerfs, meanwhile, KAY/O is getting some buffs.
There is also an effort being made to allow for safer planting on bomb sites. This patch sees some Radianite boxes turned into solid grey sections that can no longer be wallbanged.
Jett had an extremely high pick rate in VCT Masters Berlin (85%) and for the longest time now she has been a go-to duelist pick for competitive games.
I really like the way the devs have tinkered with her kit this patch, it is really well thought out and will force Jett mains to be more deliberate with their actions.
This nerf will change her playstyle slightly, but is far too small to change her position in the meta.
- Jett will only have 2 Cloudbursts now instead of 3
- A right-click kill with Jett’s kunai will no longer recharge her Bladestorm
- A single kunai headshot within the Bladestorm right-click fire mode now deals 150 damage.
It is a smart decision to reduce her smokes down to two, now Jett’s will need to be prudent with their smoke usage.
Only having two will force decision-making around whether to use them for entry, save it for defusing spike, or save it to buy time in post-plant by one-waying choke points.
We can expect to see Jett players being a lot more frugal in the way they go about using their smokes.
I really like the changes made to her Bladestorm. Right-clicking unless at point-blank range was very unpredictable and wasn’t trustworthy.
For all Jett mains, I think it’s safe to say that we have all tried to right-click at a very close range and be completely let down by the ridiculous spread and bloom of the kunai.
For this very reason, the majority of experienced and skilled Jett mains opt to use the standard single kunai fire mode when it comes to the Bladestorm.
This change, however, will make the right-click a very viable option in some situations. At this point in time it was almost never viable and always became a gamble as to whether your 3 knives will connect with your enemy as you assumed they should.
Her ultimate was seriously overpowered upon the release of VALORANT where one kunai dealt 150 to the head when right-clicking and also recharged.
The initial adjustment they made to tackle this issue ended up nerfing her right-click to the ground, this one seems a lot smarter and should make her right-click useful, effective and balanced.
Like Jett, Skye has solidified her position in the meta after buffs that came her way not too long ago.
Skye had a 58% pick rate in the VCT masters Berlin making her the 4th most desirable agent behind Astra at 60%. She was a real necessity on some maps, her pick rates on Haven, Bind, and Breeze were 73%, 89%, and 92% respectively.
The buffs that were made to Skye in the previous episode allowed her to flash and secure kills self-sufficiently like a duelist.
At the time, the devs did mean to empower her with the capability of doing this but right now it’s clear they believe they made her slightly overpowered.
- Guiding Light (E) Unequip time after casting or bending Guiding Light’s projectile increased 0.5 → 0.75s
- Windup time after activation before the flash goes off increased 0.25 → 0.3s
- Her ultimate (Seekers) has increased to 7 points as opposed to 6.
It is hard to say how much these fractional time delays will affect Skye. We will have to wait and see just how much her ability to capitalize off her own flashes is reduced, it might not be much at all. If anything, ‘the increased activation time… [will probably] give prepared enemies a slightly larger window to react.”
An experienced Skye that was popping off in her games felt like they got a chance to repeatedly use their Seekers in a single half. Her Seekers are quite a strong ultimate as it not only reveals enemy location but it applies pressure and can help you combo abilities like Guiding Light and pick off isolated targets. 6 points was a bit low and the increased ult orb point seems appropriate.
Unfortunately, KAY/O has been an underwhelming agent both in ranked and at Berlin.
His pick rate was an abysmal overall 2% across all pro teams. Many teams didn’t see a place for him with his kit that is currently not strong enough.
His flash is receiving some buffs to the speed at which it activates since at the moment it is too predictable and experienced players find it easy to turn the flash.
- Duration of windup telegraph reduced from 0.5 down to 0.3s
- Duration of windup telegraph reduced on Right click 1s down to 0.3s
- The audio attached to the in-flight projectile has been removed
- His ultimate, NULL/cmd continues to pulse even when KAY/O is downed
The most significant change here is the windup time reduction made to his right-click FLASH/drive.
The removal of the audio queue is understandable since this alerted players (even before they may have seen anything) and gave them a full second to turn away from KAY/O’s flash.
Now there is no SFX to warn you, and on top of this, the right click flash will pop roughly 3 times faster.
This should allow KAY/O players to right-click sneaky flashes around corners and pick off enemies that won’t be able to anticipate the play as well as before.
In Patch 3.03 there was an update that increased the number of wallbang angles through Radianite boxes. This allowed for longer diagonal wallbang opportunities.
It became difficult to safely plant behind Radianite boxes on many maps. Additionally, playing behind Radianite boxes became sub-optimal in more situations than ever before.
For example, if you were defending A site behind double box on Ascent, you previously only had to worry about wallbangs coming your way from A Main arches.
After this change, incoming enemy fire from A Short could also kill you with the same penetrability.
One of the most notable Radianite box changes will be the one on B Site Icebox. In most situations, you needed a Sage to use her Barrier Orb to protect herself from wallbangs coming from Orange and mid when planting.
It will be interesting to see how playstyles evolve around the now security provided on-site with these grey boxes.

Valorant patch notes 3.06 download: In good news for gamers, famous Riot Games has officially rolled out the patch notes for the highly anticipated Valorant patch 3.06. The new patch notes brought in some significant changes to the competitive shooter. The newly introduced changes range from map improvements to agent ability adjustments that can easily change the current meta.
The agent changes in Valorant patch 3.06 include some massive nerfs to Jett, the South Korean duelist who was being picked in pubs and pro games alike. The newest Valorant agent, KAY/O has received some buffs that may help him surface to the meta. Skye has also seen some adjustments that will curb her impact in the game by a margin.

"This round of balance changes targets two Initiators: Skye and KAY/O. Skye’s benefitted from some quick movement shortly after her flashes and frequent Seekers, so we’ve slowed her down a tad and bumped the cost of her ult. For KAY/O, he should be better at hiding his FLASH/drive pitches," the company said.
"And then there’s Jett. Simply put, these changes are about getting the most out of Blade Storm’s primary fire and creating matching damage rules for the alternate fire. In the same vein, there is one less smoke to work with, so choose wisely," Valorant further added.

For users of the Public Beta Environment (PBE), your settings for Live and PBE have been split, and your setting should no longer be wiped when going between the two environments, the company said.
Valorant Patch notes 3.08 has not yet been officially released by Valorant, although few leaks ahead of the release have made us aware of some changes coming in the game soon. The upcoming patch contains a few of the changes that the developers had already talked about previously and some new changes as well. Valorant Patch Notes 3.08
Although Valorant Patch notes 3.08 has not been released yet by Valorant officially, a famous Valorant youtube channel ValorLeaks has talked about a few of the changes arriving in Valorant’s upcoming patch. Valorant had released its 3.07 patch notes just a few weeks prior and introduced a few effective changes.
According to the leaks, players can downgrade their weapon skin levels in the game with the next Valorant Patch Notes 3.08. This has been a well-talked matter among the Valorant players for a long time now. Apparently, Valorant will now allow players to ‘downgrade’ their skin after having upgraded their weapon skins fully, a feature that was not allowed before. Many players have complained numerous times to the developers to allow this feature, which might be finally happening now.
Valorant allows its players to buy weapon skins using VP and upgrading them for additional VFX, animations, finishers, and sound or kill effects. However, a player cannot choose to opt for a lower level after having upgraded the skin for any higher levels, which was frustrating to many players. The curse has finally been broken and a lot of players are happy to hear the leaked update on the upcoming patch. According to several speculations, this patch is going to go live on 19th October.

VALORANT Patch 3.07 is set to join the game, and while it’s not as significant as Patch 3.06, it will still introduce a few interesting changes. Players will be able to “drop-in-drop-out” of VALORANT’s Deathmatch mode without penalty, Viper’s wall will apply instant decay to “high-flying” agents, and several issues causing the game to crash will be resolved.
One of the biggest changes in Patch 3.07 is the removal of the penalty for leaving Deathmatch early. Many players use this mode to warm up before games and committing to a full match was detrimental in some cases. When Patch 3.07 goes live, players will be able to drop out of the mode without receiving a penalty, allowing them to jump in and out without committing to a full game. Players will only receive CP if they complete a full game.
Viper and Jett will also receive minor updates in Patch 3.07. Viper’s wall will apply instant decay to agents traveling through the top part of the wall. Previously, agents like Jett and Raze that can reach the highest part of the wall wouldn’t always receive the same effect. Now, decay will instantly apply to all agents flying through the highest parts of the wall.
The visual dissolving effects seen while inside Viper’s smoke will also be adjusted to match the visuals seen from outside the smoke. This should remove a peeker’s advantage from playing in the smoke. Jett’s Blade Storm kunai will recharge after killing training bots and defuse practice bots, allowing players to practice with the ability without issue.
A new Raw Input Buffer setting is in beta and improves “performance of input processing,” resulting in performance improvement. This also allows for significant improvement when using an 8,000 Hz polling rate mouse.
Players should experience fewer issues that caused VALORANT to crash since Patch 3.07 will introduce a “slew of fixes” for common crashes reported by players. The bug that caused the text cursor to relocate to the right when editing text in the Report a Player menu has been fixed. Teams will no longer receive the Team Ace award when it wasn’t earned by the team, meaning squads will need to actually work together in all instances to earn the reward.
